Small Temptations #2: "Penance"

Slipping away from the convent, Father David has brought the swiftly-diminishing novice nun to his guest room at the clergy house. Although she continues to shrink, this does at least afford Sister Catherine some peace and quiet to reflect on the seriousness of her situation.

That is, until the arrival of an unwelcome visitor ...

The Discipline

As you might have expected, the convent's resident disciplinarian Sister Rose was not prepared to let her ward get away so easily. She follows Catherine in order to deliver the punishment that she believes the novice so dearly deserves.

Also whilst in the clergy house, Catherine overhears a conversation which gives her some indication as to what might have caused her shrinking and suggests that there may be a much larger, more sinister plan at work ... but can she do anything to stop it now that she is almost down to a mere one foot tall?
