Bantam House #1: "The Bare Mini-Mum"

Following the death of his grandmother, Edward Bantam has inherited a rather charming detached house in an idyllic countryside location. He's making plans to move in along with his two adult children Heather and Albert, his new fiance Patricia Petty and her 21-year-old daughter Penelope.

What nobody realises is that the garden is also home to a small clan of fairy-like creatures, who until now have maintained a peaceful truce with the human residents of Bantam House. When Patricia announces her intention to uproot the very tree which they call home, however, the mischievous sprites decide that they need to teach her some respect!

After everyone has gone to bed for the night, Patricia begins to feel oddly peckish and heads down to the kitchen for some leftover pizza. Unfortunately for her, the food has been "garnished" with a few magical herbs which cause her to immediately shrink.

This is going to be a long night ...

A Petty Affair

Patricia initially shrinks down to about six inches, even smaller than the fairies themselves, and then slowly begins to regain her size over the course of the night so we get to see her at a few different sizes. There's a mixture of both giant and giantess interactions along the way as she attempts to get back upstairs while (unsuccessfully) avoiding the other occupants of the house.

I'm hoping that this will be the first issue of a larger "Bantam House" series, assuming that people enjoy it. Future stories would revolve around the Bantam/Petty family's relationship with the resident fairy-folk after they've moved into the house. I can foresee a lot of growing and shrinking fun involving all of these characters, and maybe even some other types of magical transformations!
