"Millennia vs. Doctor Schrink" Volume One (Legacy Bundle)

Starting from April 2023, the first four issues of "Millennia vs. Doctor Schrink" are available only in this special legacy collection.

Issue #1: "A Matter of Perspective"

Millennia, daughter of the legendary Captain Aeon, has inherited more than her fair share of impressive super-powers. She could be one of the greatest crime-fighters in the history of the world, if that only meant as much to her as her follower count.

But what would our heroine be without her powers? What if she were small, helpless and afraid? Following a surprise encounter with mad scientist Doctor Schrink and his new shrinking booth, she may be about to find out!

Initially our mad doctor shrinks Millennia down to around three feet tall, the perfect size for him to demonstrate his physical dominance and show her that she's certainly not superhuman any more. Once she understands the situation, he then takes things a step further by shrinking her to a mere twelve inches!

Millennia then finds herself stripped and examined before the doctor finally puts his nefarious plan into action ...

Issue #2: "Fully Poseable"

There's no question about it, Millennia is in a bit of a jam. Shrunken, paralysed and imprisoned within an action figure package of her own design, she now sits on the shelf and waits for whatever super-fan or avid collector might come along and purchase her. This really wasn't what she had in mind when she decided to branch out into merchandising ... 

As fate would have it, the lucky buyer that's about to get her hands on the most realistic doll of all time is someone we met back in the first issue - Sherilyn Cooper, who Millennia dismissed rather rudely on their previous encounter.

After she carries the superheroine back to her apartment, Sherry of course has to check the condition of this acquisition for herself. Her ex-boyfriend and current roommate Josh also seems eager to have a some "alone time" with the action figure, which could all lead to a rather messy situation.

Issue #3: "A Fly on the Wall"

It is quite rare for Captain Aeon, the strongest man in the world, to feel totally helpless - but his daughter Millennia has gone missing, and nobody seems to have any idea where she could be. Fortunately he can hire the city's best detective, Panthera, if he can only convince her to help locate her fiercest rival.

But this could prove to be a difficult case to crack even for the feline superheroine, given that Millennia is currently trapped inside a regular apartment at one-sixth of her usual size. With her first escape attempt foiled by the return of Sherry, Millennia is forced to play "doll" for a while longer. In the process she continues to learn more than she ever cared to about the relationship between Sherry and her ex-boyfriend Josh.

A second escape attempt is no more successful, but this time her cover is blown when Josh realises that she's no ordinary toy. He decides that he needs to interrogate our miniature heroine. How will she even begin to explain her circumstances to this giant of a man, and will he prove to be a friend or a foe?

Issue #4: "Infiltration"

It's been two days since Millennia was shrunk by her nemesis. Though she still remains stuck at her diminutive size, at least she now has an ally in the form of Josh, an unemployed musician who seems to have something of a doll fetish. She's going to need his help if she wants to somehow reach her father Captain Aeon, perhaps the only one who can get her out of this mess.

But once she sneaks inside the headquarters of the superheroes union, her new perspective reveals that all is not quite as she imagined. Inside the restricted halls of the council, our heroine discovers that not everyone is concerned about her disappearance. She finds herself in the hands of Scope, one of her contemporaries from the same young, trendy generation of superheroes. Millennia always felt they had a good camaraderie, but it turns out he was never quite as fond of her as he pretended to be.

Perhaps his true feelings will emerge now that he has a lifelike Millennia "doll" to play with ...
